Calm Minds, Happy Humans.

Meet Amy

Hi, I'm Amy, a Mindfulness Coach and the founder of Busy Little Minds. I'm incredibly passionate about empowering children and young people with the tools they need to navigate the ups and downs of life with confidence, resilience, and calm. That’s why I created Busy Little Minds for younger children and Busy Young Minds for tweens and teens.

As a mum myself, and someone who has struggled with anxiety since childhood (notice how I say ‘has’ not ‘had’ because for me it’s not something that goes away but something that can be managed because of the techniques I have learnt), I understand how difficult it can be for children and young adults to manage anxiety, emotions, and added to that the overwhelming pressures of today’s world that we as adults are only just beginning to get a grip of and understand.

I believe that by planting the seeds of mindfulness early, we can help children grow into resilient, happy and healthy humans, and well-balanced individuals - this is how Busy Little Minds was born!

The growing challenges faced by children, tweens & teens—academic stress, social media pressure, and the emotional rollercoaster of adolescence—I felt it was essential to put something out into the world that helps them develop the skills to stay grounded and resilient. when they come up against these challenges, because all the love in the world can not always help or protect them - sometimes they need to face things on their own.

I created Busy Young Minds because, during the teen years, young people are often bombarded with external pressures and internal struggles. It’s a time when they’re navigating major transitions and developing their sense of self. I wanted to provide them with a practical way to manage stress, improve their focus, and enhance emotional regulation during this complex phase of life.

Mindfulness is more important than ever for young adults, offering them tools to stay calm, build resilience, and stay focused, despite the external noise.

The Busy Little Minds and Busy Young Minds programmes are designed to foster exactly that: happy and healthy minds ready to embrace life's journey with confidence and joy.

I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that by empowering children, tweens, and teens with the tools they need to manage stress and emotions, we are giving them the foundation for a lifetime of well-being.

Mindfulness isn’t just a set of techniques—it’s a way of life that helps young people develop the resilience, focus, and emotional intelligence needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and sometimes scary world. I'm honoured to be part of their journey and excited to support them in cultivating the calm, confidence, and joy they deserve.
