At Busy Little Minds, we offer two great ways to bring mindfulness into your child’s life.

Firstly, we would love the opportunity to connect with your child’s school and explore the possibility of running mindfulness sessions for entire year groups. We believe in building positive relationships with schools to create a supportive environment for mindfulness to thrive. Secondly, if you feel your child would benefit from more personalised one-to-one mindfulness sessions, we’re here to offer that as well. Each course is tailored to your child’s unique needs and interests, ensuring a truly individual approach.

We typically meet once a week, where I take the time to understand your child’s personality and preferences. The mindful activities are then adapted to suit them, often including their favourite toys, devices, or interests to make the experience more engaging.

In between sessions, I encourage your child to practise the techniques they’ve learned, with the goal of using these skills daily to manage stress, improve focus, and build emotional resilience.

By the end of the course, your child will have a valuable set of mindful tools to help them navigate life’s challenges with confidence. They will feel better equipped to handle situations that may have previously felt overwhelming, setting a strong foundation for emotional well-being for the future.

    We're going to learn some cool tricks, like mindful breathing (super important for calming), journaling (like writing a secret diary!), and simple yoga poses (like animal moves!). These tricks will help us handle those icky feelings like stress and also help us understand our thoughts and feelings much better.

  • Today, we're becoming super emotion detectives! We're going to explore our big, amazing world of feelings. We'll discover how our mindfulness superpower can help us spot and understand our emotions even better.

    We'll learn how to watch our feelings like clouds floating by, without saying they're "good" or "bad." This helps us manage them like a boss!

    We'll use our breathwork tools (like special breathing exercises), journaling (writing and drawing!), and yoga moves to help us sail through ALL our feelings – happy ones and the ones that feel a little tricky – with more confidence and ease!

    We're diving into the super cool part of mindfulness that helps us grow our happy feelings.

    You know what? Scientists have discovered that doing things like being thankful, playing with our breath, and wiggling and jiggling with yoga can really make a big difference in how we feel!

    These awesome activities help us make our good feelings even bigger, shoo away stress, and boost our mood to super-high levels!

    We'll explore how these tools can help us spot all the fun and thankfulness in our everyday lives, filling our hearts with sunshine!

    In this session, we'll explore how being present and really paying attention when we're talking to others can make our friendships even deeper and make our communication skills shine!

    We’ll learn tricks to listen with super-hearing, speak with thoughtful words, and understand what others are feeling even better.

  • Welcome to Session 5, where we're going to become awesome obstacle-course champions!

    We'll learn how mindfulness can help us zoom past those tricky bumps and hurdles we sometimes find in our everyday life.

    It’s totally normal to face challenges like getting distracted (ooh, shiny!), feeling like it's too hard (resistance!), or feeling a little bummed out (discouragement) on our mindfulness adventure. But guess what? These obstacles are actually secret opportunities for us to grow stronger and learn new things!

    Today, we'll become detectives and identify the sneaky barriers that try to block our mindfulness path. Then, we'll develop super-cool strategies to blast through them!

    By understanding these challenges and working together to overcome them, we can make our mindfulness practice even deeper, become super-resilient, and unlock amazing personal growth and well-being!

    It's totally okay to feel all sorts of different emotions, but sometimes managing them can be a bit tricky, like trying to wrangle playful puppies!

    That's where our mindfulness superpowers come in! Mindfulness gives us awesome tools for understanding and taming our tricky emotions. It helps us respond to situations with clear thinking and wise choices, instead of getting swept away by our feelings.

    In this session, we'll explore games and practices that help us spot our emotional triggers (like what makes us feel a certain way), understand what our emotions are trying to tell us, and respond to them in healthy and helpful ways.
